Overview
XProtect & Protege GX Access Control Integration - Allows users to oversee and control Protege GX access events and alarms in the XProtect Smart Client
The Protege GX Milestone Bidirectional Integration synchronizes Protege GX records and events with Milestone XProtect VMS and lets you manage from XProtect. Protege GX is an enterprise level solution that brings access control, intrusion detection, and building automation to the XProtect UI.Link Protege GX controlled doors, inputs, outputs, and areas to XProtect VMS events, enabling effortless retrieval of footage based on status changes, such as when a PIR is triggered or a door is opened. The high-level interface (HLI) enables seamless communication so you can get automatic popups for live video streams in the XProtect Smart Client during events like 'door access denied'.
Key features
- View the status of doors, controllers, areas and other devices in Milestone XProtect
- Monitor and report on access control and intrusion events within XProtect and view camera footage for each event
- Set up custom alarms in XProtect based on Protege GX events. Addressing an alarm in one system will address it in the other, mitigating security risks
- Receive an access request notification with camera footage whenever a user is denied access at a door, enabling operators to assess the situation
- Add Protege GX doors and other records to Milestone maps, creating a unified view of the whole building.
