Fields of expertise

Communications

Our Global Communications team plays a pivotal role in driving conversations both inside and outside of Milestone. The team specializes in creating compelling multimedia content and engaging with a global audience. Externally, it manages our PR, public affairs and social media presence. Internally, the team keeps the entire organization informed with regular business updates and relevant insights. 

The Global Communications team believes dialog enables cooperation, learning and development.  That’s why it puts people front and center in everything we do. 

Legal, Compliance & Risk

Our Legal, Compliance and Risk Management team plays a vital role in advising the entire organization, ensuring that we achieve our commercial goals while staying compliant and responsible. 

To best support our organization the team is split into the following roles: Legal Business Partners, who support each business unit; Regional Counsels supporting the regions we operate in; and specialists such as Risk Management, Compliance, ESG and IP Rights; and, finally, Project Leads that support each of our cross-functional strategic initiatives. 

Corporate Affairs

Our Corporate Affairs team specializes in two key domains: Public Affairs and the Responsible Technology Program.  

Our Public Affairs experts manage Milestone's vital relationships with stakeholders, and strategically engage with policymakers to influence decisions that have a direct impact on our operations.

The Responsible Technology Program focuses on coordinating efforts to ensure our technology is developed, sold and used responsibly. It’s committed to advancing a way of working that prioritizes responsible technology development, sale and usage.

Finance

Our Finance team is dedicated to the financial health and growth of our organization. It focuses on innovation, collaboration, and strategic thinking to offer rewarding career opportunities in finance. 

 
The team tackles a range of tasks including recording financial transactions, reporting, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. It collaborates across departments to offer crucial insights, and supports informed decision-making throughout the company.  
 
Continuous learning is ingrained in the team culture with a dedication to professional growth and maintaining a supportive work environment. 

Marketing

Comprised of highly skilled specialists, Global Marketing's primary objective is to contribute to Milestone’s growth ambitions. 

All regional marketing teams closely collaborate to drive a variety of strategic initiatives. These include fostering brand awareness, building value propositions for our product portfolio, generating demand in all parts of the value chain, and crafting exceptional partner experiences. Ultimately, we make complex technology relatable, relevant and compelling to our global audiences. 

As a data-driven department, Global Marketing uses analytics to continuously evaluate and fine tune processes, channels and performance. As a team, it values personal development, cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Sales

Our Global Sales team is the driving force at Milestone. Spread throughout 26 countries, the team is responsible for generating growth — with the added responsibility of being Milestone ambassadors who champion our culture wherever they go. 

Global Sales’ mission is to cultivate partnerships with resellers, distributors and Technology Partners while nurturing the customer experience.  The team has a wide variety of specialties such as outside and inside sellers, technical support and solution engineers, business development, and support staff for enabling sales. All work together, primarily through Salesforce.

People & Culture

Our People and Culture department is a vital player in our organizational success. The globally-based specialists cover the full range of talent acquisition, employer branding, HR business partnering, organizational excellence, people operations, and talent management. 

People & Culture manages processes for candidates, new hires, and existing employees with a focus on well-being, efficient operations and strategic impact. The navigates the balance between business goals and employee needs and contributes to Milestone's success by fostering a culture of growth and organizational synergy. 

IT

Global IT supports both our business and customers. The team safeguards and drives our IT Enterprise Architecture, while defining the IT Solution Architecture and policies, along with guardrails for behavior, acceptable use and compliance.
 
Global IT services include software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, data analytics, the Digital Workplace, end-user support and much more. The team is made up of talented professionals who are passionate about technology and digitalization. This drives a dynamic work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Product & Tech

Milestone’s Tech Group is the epicenter of innovations in video technology software. It drives Milestone’s research, technology, product & platform development, design, technology partnerships, and product management. 

Tech Group team members are driven by the pursuit of setting new benchmarks in the video management software and analytics landscape. With tech hubs in Portland, Sofia, Barcelona and Copenhagen, the team spans borders, and promotes collaboration on a global scale.
