Athena Walk Through Metal Detector / Weapons Detection System adheres to the NIJ 0601.02 standard. Athena can detect weapons while not detecting a cell phone, thus allowing traffic to flow efficiently. Athena's WDS software augments operators' jobs.

Athena Weapons Detection System - Athena Walk Through Metal Detector / Weapons Detection System by adheres to the NIJ 0601.02 standard
Athena's Weapons Detection System is now in schools, hospitals, casinos, and even SMBs that choose to help protect its patrons. The system is made up of CEIA OPENGATE, lidar sensors, an iPad, and Athena's Software. The system not only detects a weapon but also helps you stay in compliance with best practices by Homeland Security. If an incident takes place, the system helps maintain compliance by providing the necessary documents and reports to automatically pop up to allow ease of administration of your entryway. The WTMD/WDS allows people to walk through your doorways while leaving everyday items in their pockets and still detects weapons 100% of the time according to the security standard you choose to set the system to. The WDS talks to Milestone XProtect and can send alarms to the VMS. You can view the alarms with XProtect Smart Client or Athena's mobile apps.Key features
