Thermal Radar (TR) is an automated security solution that detects perimeter intruders. TR continuously rotates a thermal sensor and sends slew-to-cue commands to an attached PTZ camera when targets are detected. TR continues to track the target(s) and displays video and alerts in XProtect.

Thermal Radar 360-Degree Perimeter Protection - Thermal Radar automatically detects intruders using a continuously rotating thermal sensor.
Thermal Radar is a network-based thermal surveillance solution that provides constant 360-degree situational awareness. By rapidly rotating a FLIR Boson thermal sensor and running edge analytics, Thermal Radar can scan hundreds of acres every two seconds for unwanted intruders - both vehicles and people.Thermal Radar's patent-pending graphical user interface (GUI) integrates with Milestone's XProtect to display the full 360-degree thermal detection area, an integrated geospatial map of detected target locations, and event alerts.

Use Thermal Radar's layout tool (https://www.thermalradar.com/layout-tool) to evaluate Thermal Radar distance capabilities by placing camera coverage layouts at user-defined locations.

Post installation of Thermal Radar, configuration is accomplished via the intuitive graphical user interface (GUI).

Thermal Radar installs as a normal camera/device into Milestone. To provision Thermal Radar alarms in XProtect, a "Milestone Receiver" is created within the Thermal Radar GUI.

Once a Milestone Alert Receiver is created, user-defined Alert Rules can be added. There are many options, such as alerting only on people in one area, vehicles in another, or both in all areas.
