RACS 5 physical access control system - Bidirectional and IP-based integration between RACS 5 and XProtect security systems
The integration of our RACS 5 system with Milestone XProtect system is offered in two interchangable and concurrently operated scenarios.Scenario 1 - XProtect VMS is the main monitoring and management software while RACS 5 functions as its subsystem. Based on plug-in the operator of XProtect can display access control events, view users, monitor access doors, view alarms and remotely control doors including door opening on request. The integration empowers VMS operator with effective monitoring of access points and access doors.
Scenario 2 - VISO (RACS 5) sofware is the main monitoring and management platform while XProtect functions as video recording subsystem. Based on protocol communication the VISO can download recorded video from XProtect in association with access control events. Online video stream can also be used in real time door monitoring and on VISO map. The integration empowers ACS operator with video features.
