DeaVMS - Perimeter protections - DEA Security’s perimeter intrusion detection systems integrated in XProtect

The DeaVMS plug-in provides a bidirectional interface connecting the DEA Security perimeter intrusion detection systems with the Milestone Video Surveillance System, XProtect, and reports all the events of alarm, prealarm, tamper and fault.
Moreover, the plug-in allows the user to send control commands to the DEA Security system.

Key features

Auto import of DEA Security configuration in XProtect (list of zones and sectors)
Receiving of zones events in real-time: alarm, prealarm, tamper and fault
Color changing zone icons, depending on their status
Possibility to send commands for single zone or per groups of zones
Possibility to configure a camera for a zone or per group of zones to visualize during alarm management

The plug-in allows you to communicate with multiple DEA servers.

It is possible to link a camera for each zone that will be displayed in the Alarm Preview section of the XProtect Smart Client. It is also possible to customize the signal map for each single zone.

It is possible to create a XProtect object that allows you to group multiple zones. The group also has the ability to send some commands to all its zones. It is possible to link a camera for group

The DeaVMS plug-in provides a new category of events called Dea ‘VMS Events’. Each event can be associated with an alarm or with a rule.

Every object of the DeaVMS system can be visualized on a graphic map in the XProtect Smart Client. The object icons identify the status and it is possible to send the commands to DEA System.

When an alarm occurs in a DEA object, it can be handled in the same way as via XProtect alarm management
